Dr. Hank Ford is a full scope Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has been in private practice in Presque Isle, Maine, for over 20 years. Dr. Ford owns and operates Northern Maine Oral and Facial Surgery, PA, a Medicare/Medicaid/AAAHC Certified Ambulatory Surgical Center. He received his B.S. degree from Stony Brook University in New York and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ford completed a one year General Practice Residency in Staten Island Hospital, followed by a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau County Medical Center, a major trauma center in Long Island, NY. Following his residency, he became Board Certified in 1996 with two subsequent re-certifications. His professional affiliations include: Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Member of the American Dental Association, Member of the Aroostook County Dental Society, Member of the Maine Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Member of the William P. Harrington Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society, a Certified TeethXpress Provider and Past President of the Aroostook Medical Center medical staff. In his free time, Dr. Ford enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and is an instrumented rated pilot. He has four children and resides in Presque Isle, Maine.
