Stem Cell Therapy
We are part of a National Program to offer the latest treatment options and education for Stem Cell Therapy.Treatment of Joint Degeneration
Painful joints have often been treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen or naproxen. These drugs are commonly used to treat the symptoms only of arthritis. Over time since the actual problem is not being addressed these patients require some type of surgery or even a total joint replacement. Total joint replacements have long recovery periods and are almost never the patient’s first choice of treatment. These limitations of existing treatments have led doctors to look for other ways to effectively treat arthritis and degenerative related joint pain.
Don’t operate, Regenerate!
Amniotic Tissue Allograph Injection (Amino)
Since joint degeneration involves the breakdown of cartilage, injection involving growth factors, proteins, amino acids, a matrix of collagen (A collective tissue found in the body), hyaluronic acid and stem cells make sense in aid of repairing a joint.

As we get older, our body’s regenerative capabilities can wane, leaving us prone to a range of painful degenerative conditions.
Cells from a living healthy baby’s umbilical cord could change this, providing the proteins, stem cells and growth factors needed to promote cell renewal and healing.
Do you suffer from pain in your back or your joints, such as hip or knee, which prevents you from living life to the fullest? Is walking, cycling, gardening, fishing, or exercising, no longer possible without pain? If you are missing out on your Golden Years, you need to see a regenerative medicine physician for a consultation. They can determine if the newest innovations in stem cell therapies are right for you.
The treatment is a simple non-surgical injection into the affected joint with no downtime or lengthy recovery. You may maintain your normal lifestyle and allow the cells to create a balanced optimal environment in your joints so your body can repair itself. You should feel maximal results within 3-9 months at which time you can increase your activity levels to match your comfort, but understand that the regenerative process can continue for long periods of time.
Umbilical cord cells contain growth factors, proteins, and stem cells that continue to produce additional growth factors and proteins for a period of time. These components have the potential to positively affect the environment inside the joint and to stimulate your own tissue to aid in the regenerative process while ALSO stimulating your NATIVE STEM CELLS to aid in regeneration.

THE STEM CELL THERAPY PROCEDURE
The Southeastern Spine Institute uses the latest technology to treat chronic pain. One innovative treatment utilizes stem cell therapy, which encourages your body’s own stem cells to heal damaged tissue. This procedure can address orthopedic pain in knees, hips, shoulders, feet or ankles.
SSI has found that Stem Cell Therapy may also remedy pain from spinal disc injuries or conditions that haven’t improved following a conservative approach, such as non-surgical treatments.
The offices of Sweetgrass Health & Wellness offer a number of proven treatments that can help you maintain or return to optimal health. These services include:
Chiropractic care including adjustment and spinal correction
Functional Dry Needling (Acupuncture)
Massage therapy including deep tissue
Corrective and preventative exercise regimens
Lifestyle advice including nutritional & weight counseling
Preventative postural and spinal screenings to catch a problem before it starts
Stem Cell therapy as a form of regenerative therapy
Kinesio taping for immobilization as well as the release of tension
Scar tissue dissolution via the Graston Technique or Active Release Technique
At Wellness By Design, we offer stem cell therapy and other regenerative medicine options to help your body heal itself from the inside out.
Over the years, these procedures have proven to be safe, effective and less expensive alternatives to conventional surgeries and pharmaceuticals. Wellness By Design founder Dr. Connie Casebolt Carver, with over 30 years a respected board-certified physician, came to understand that medications often only suppress symptoms, instead of curing the patient. This is what inspired her to seek out a better paradigm for health and lasting wellness.
For men and women experiencing chronic pain in shoulders, knees, ankles, the neck and lower back, Stem Cell Therapy is offering a true organic approach that doesn’t just mask pain; it actually heals the body!
