Wyoming

Considering that Wyoming is the least populated state in the U.S. it is surprising that it currently has 2 stem cell clinics in operation. The possible reason for the high number of stem cell clinics in regards to a rather small population is because Wyoming has one of the highest percentages of millionaires per capita out of any state in the U.S. This means that individuals in Wyoming are more apt to be able to afford stem cell treatment and because of this stem cell therapy in Wyoming is thriving.

Stem Cell Therapy in Wyoming

If you are thinking about getting stem cell therapy in Wyoming, then then you will be able to choose either autologous adipose-derived stem cells or autologous bone marrow-derived stem cells. Although the stem cell clinics in the state only offer two different types of stem cells, your choice in therapies will not be limited, because a majority of the treatments that are currently being offered in the U.S. use one of these two types of stem cells.

Some of the stem cell therapies that are available in Wyoming are:

Ligament damage

If you do not see the stem cell therapy that you are interested in getting on the list above, then please reach out to us today for more information. Just because a therapy is not listed above does not mean that it is not available in Wyoming but simply that the list above represents only a cross-section of the treatments offered in the state.

Laws Regarding Stem Cell Treatment in Wyoming

The only law in Wyoming that is prohibitive to stem cell therapy or research is one that prohibits the sale, distribution or donation of a live or viable aborted Fetus or embryo for experimentation. This law essentially precludes researchers from doing embryonic stem cell research of any kind, due to the fact that they will be unable to attain embryos in the state. This definitely limits researchers in the state, however, depending on where the stem cell field goes in the future, this law may change with time.

If you think that you are a candidate for stem cell therapy of any kind that you should be aware of the fact that there are only a handful of stem cell therapies that have been approved by the FDA and these are ones that are related to certain types of bone and blood cancers. Any other type of stem cell therapy is considered to be experimental or in a clinical trial and therefore most insurance companies will not pay for the procedure. This, however, does not mean that these therapies are not effective but rather the FDA has not yet received enough information on them to approve of their usage.
